Rotary Club of Baneshwor has been committed to promoting girls’ education by providing scholarships to underprivileged girl children for the past 12 years, helping them access quality education and a brighter future.

Founding date

The Rotary Club of Baneshwor was established in 2008, becoming the first club chartered under Rotary District 3292. What began as a small group of dedicated professionals and community leaders has today grown into a strong and vibrant club with over 50 active members.

Rotary Club of Baneshwor focuses on education, health, environment, economic development, and clean water. We support literacy, maternal care, disease prevention, sustainability, and peacebuilding—creating lasting impact through service, compassion, and community partnerships.

Message From President

As I humbly step into the role of President of the Rotary Club of Baneshwor for the year 2025–26, I am filled with a deep sense of honor, responsibility, and hope. The start of a new Rotary year offers us a moment to reflect on our values and renew our commitment to service. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a club that consistently embodies the true spirit of Rotary—service, fellowship, and meaningful change.

This year, we proudly embrace the Rotary International theme: “Unite for Good.” These three words are more than just a theme—they are a powerful call to action. In a world facing growing challenges and divisions, unity is our greatest strength. When we come together—sharing our time, talents, and compassion—we become a source of hope for those in need and a force for good in our communities.

At the Rotary Club of Baneshwor, we have always believed in service that transforms lives. Whether it’s supporting underprivileged children, empowering women, protecting our environment, or responding swiftly to community needs, our goal remains clear: to serve above self.
